check out #s 55 and 75 at 1:19. just sick. #55 was in position to make the play, misses, and then gets crushed by a block. #75 chased the play just to have barry fake and then run BEHIND him for the touch. and remember that this was the dominant dallas defense of the 90s. barry was the best that ive ever seen. period.

having grown up in kansas, i can tell you that barry was doing this type of thing even in high school at wichita southeast. he was a beast. how many guys you know can back out of a hole(that opens and closes in fractions of a second) and turn it into a huge gain? dont worry, i'll wait...

Had ahorrible O line almost everyseason. The best ever and he went to waste on that Lions team.

@XxM1KeXxTYSONXx Everyteam in the playoffs were good teams and they all know Baryy is getting the ball. The numbers don't represent everything and tell the whole story. He was only bested by Jim Brown in my opinon. He had no one else on his team ever. Name a team he had that had a good quarterback and receiver tandem to go deep in the playoffs. Give Barry the ball was the plan come playoff time and all the teams knew it.

u know y sanders is overrated?
cause of PLAYOFF PERFORMANCE. In four career outdoor postseason games, Sanders averaged a paltry 2.8 yards per carry. He never scored a touchdown. And he never ran for more than 65 yards in a single game. With Sanders, the Lions went 0-4 in outdoor playoff games, losing by an average of 17 points.

There is a "world champion" or "NFL all time running leader" . . . but, this is real pure running man, Barry is the great talent, he live in our hearts.
-
Omg that is the most pathetic attempt at blocking I have ever seen at 4:07. I know the Lions didn't have a line, but I know for a fact college, perhaps even the best of high schools, could do better to block than that.

Emmitt Smith was a great running back! Barry was great and if he would of had Dallas's offensive line then he would be greater. Emmit Smith may not have had the most skills but he had determination, heart, and sportsmanship. Watch some of his highlights.
