'Time After Time' - jazz piano lesson

This is a great standard to play on - I played the first chorus freely as solo piano - as Keith Jarrett does on his 'Keith Jarrett at the Blue Note' CD, modulating from the written key (C) up to Eb, and then back again to C as the bass and drums begin. On the trio choruses, I was thinking more of the Oscar Peterson approach - using lots of blues influenced licks which, despite not being a 12 bar blues seem to work well over this song.

I practice hard every day on Jazz improvisation scales, have piano teaching degrees and still can't make it as interesting as you. With Jazz you either have got it or you don't.

This is one of the coolest uses of technology for teaching I've ever seen, I'd love to know how you do it. Unfortunately Bass would be tricky for teaching in this fashion, but really well done!
