@TalkinXbox One more thing. I have been through Mikes discography. This masterpiece is not there!
-
@TalkinXbox Nope, Michael Sterns it is... However, we are a little bit late, this discussion, of who the composer is, was settled a long time ago ;)

The circles represent the powers of 10. Each circle is 10 times larger as the previous one, to give an idea of the massiveness of the universe.
-
It's not Michael Sterns. It's Mike Oldfield, of Tubular Bells fame.
-
That was beautiful...How ever God made the Earth...he made it good.

Outstanding video!! wish I was stoned to really get into it,haha.Eh but then again, thats why I stopped!

why the circles?

Oh! Cosmic Journey. I loved the film. There wasn't much I learned from it, but it helped give a sense of perspective.
Excellent music.
why the circles?

@keahende From an earlier response - "The "rings" were in the video I used for this section. No explanation was given for them. My interpretation was that each "ring" represented a relative "system" - from planetary system to solar system to galactic region to galaxy to local cluster .... etc. I suppose it is open to however you want to interpret it." Thanks for your question.

Please lets give the credit to the master creator of this music. His name is Michael Stearns who composes mainly for IMAX and special genera of film like movie BARAKA. I had a privilege to communicate with him for a short while as a composer my self. Cheers

Thank you for this posting. I don't think I could give him more credit. The only credit I personally should receive is for the video editing of the film. I love this and other music by him. Unfortunately, I have not been able to find a way to communicate directly with him, or I would have. Thanks.
