I was on a tour of a prison camp in Germany from World War II where they had a water torture machine (I do not know if it was exactly the same equipment as in this clip, but the principle is the same), and they said that when you were exposed to this type of torture
for a long time, it would eventually leave a clear mark on your forehead where the water had dripped: O

I think the main problem for me in that situation would be not being able to move my joints.. and boredom.

What about the chinese water torture?
-
@hungeredone pfff..Dick Cheney totally disagrees with you and in fact encourages the armed forces to use it.
-
I take that over working on a production line any time
-
yeah that looked like real torture
-
Government doing worse everyday
-
Wow. It was cool and not cool at the same time.
Wait a sec. Did Adam says "Ok Babe" for Tory at 1:50? lol he´s kinda cute!

It's much worse, because this lasts for weeks, waterboarding is a quick pang of pain and suffering that ends once the torture ends.
This actually traumatizes you and turns you insane for the rest of your natural life.
The Chinese are no joke, they perfected things like this.
I would like to try that, not saying I'm tough or anything because I'm not... psychologically at least, but I'm simply curious.

@PedooooBear I'm not sure how it feels, as I've never been exposed to "Chinese Water Torture", as this method is also called.
But from what I've read, it's the inconsistency of the drips. A single drip of water isn't that annoying, but the human brain wants to have some kind of pattern in everything. But the brain can't predict when the next drip comes. So the person being tortures is fearing for the next drip. It's just a horrible method.
It's also more something psychological than physical.
