They certainly are. I thought that was the lighthouse at Flamborough. Bempton Cliffs is at the same part of the coastline, between Filey and Bridlington. I live in Bradford, not the nicest bit of Yorkshire, but at least it`s easy to get to the Dales from here. Thanks for your pictures, I can feel a visit to the coast coming on soon!

Not sure if they have a name, but I took those photos at Flamborough Head, adjacent to the lighthouse. Lovely aren't they? :)

the photo of the little boy sat on oakenshaw cross reminds me very much of my late dad, he was born in pear tree cottage at the bottom of wike lane and used to play on the cross as a small boy, as he grew up he worked as a young lad at bests ivy house farm in wike lane He has been dead 26 years now and I live in cyprus a world away
