the fire service isn't a competition, its not about who gets more jobs. its about preserving life and propriety. it doesn't matter if your in the fdny and get 10,000+ calls a year, or a volly that gets 25 calls a year. the common goal of every person that accepts the duties of being a firefighter, should be to preserve life and propriety!!!!!! if that's not why your in, then get the fuck out, stuck up cry babies

All these people saying oh the FDNY sucks they take forever to put out fires or even get there... thats because of all the asshole drivers in that city no one ever moves for the fire trucks... do some research before you complain and one day you will be thankful when one of those firefighters carrys your sorry ass out of your burning residence. these firefighters did there job. they also put there safety first.
