@RyanSpencer83 Well, while Tony did go to Military Academy and is a streetsmart brawler, Ziva is a Mossad operative. I dunno if you know about the Mossad, but they're kinda badass. Also, she's lived with this kind of violence her whole life. Of course she would be better at kicking ass than Tony.

Like Gibbs, they're bending Rules #12. They've gone out on several occasions as proven throughout Seasons 3 and 4. IMO, that would constitute a "date" but obviously they have impulse issues. It's falling in love that complicates it.

@triplexxxsatyr i agree completely with this. im going crazy trying to figure out if they are secretly hooking up/going out. especially since (spoiler alert) when mike franks dies, and tony consoles her in the elevator? what are your thought?

Don't get me wrong. I love Ziva, but I wish they would let Tony protect her for once... I am a girl and I know I love it when a guy stand up for his girl!

There's nothing wrong with it at all. The point being emphasized is that the writers could've made it look like both Tony and Ziva cleaning up the bar in their own ways just to prove that both precision athletes like Ziva and hard-scrabbled detectives like Tony can achieve the same results despite their differences in training. Plus, it's part of the appeal of the ever awesome Tiva chemistry. lol

Although i agree that it would be sweet and totally heroic if tony defended ziva in a fight, i like the fact that the girl is the one that kicks ass and takes change and is not the damsel in distress. i mean, this is the 21st century why does the guy always have to defend his girl?

Word. I was disappointed as well. They did it again in S7's "Faith" in the 'redthroats' bar fight scene.
Tony's a streetsmart brawler; he can handle baddies on his own very well.

I think Tony is as tough as Ziva, but he is street hardened and fights to survive. Ziva is far more disciplined and she appears better in fights because she has been trained to quickly assess and break down fights, as they happen. She fights with logic and skill, as well as strength. ZIVA RULES
