@kmk420stonerr pfft,I figured it out when I was 7 years old. I felt fine, was doing fine, my teacher was a bitch who didn't like me, next thing you know I'm on ritalin. Then I feel like shit, begin having behavioral problems, then they put me on stelazine at night. Then all hell breaks loose. I learned from first hand experience. Fought tooth and nail, had to finally drop out of school when I was 13 and hide under the radar till I turned 18 (they caught me twice), I'm not making this up.

i cant believe that me a 15 year old figured this out and people that have been around much longer than i have think that their interests are being protected by the government and big pharma..news flash people- they dont give a fuck about you!!

In Australia - and I'd be surprised if it's diffferent in America or europe - doctors are required to undergo a certain number of hours of refresher training per year. On the face of it that's a very good thing, until you hear the catch; time spent in sales sessions counts as training.
So doctors are required _by_law_ to sit and listen to corporate sales propaganda, unless they want to go and sit in on a college course at their own expense (which almost nobody does). Guess which they choose..

And how do they get approval for these "new" (IE old repackaged) drugs. They pay lobbyist to pay senators, house reps, FDA, etc.They also commission their own studies and research panels with predetermined results.

Amazing! So drug companies can invent a disorder and then rebrand an existing drug to "treat" the "disorder" and the government lets them do this and even gives them a new patent!!!!! Bastards!

Why would you ask your doctor if any drug is right for you?
They are not good for you! Most if not all drugs only mask or dull the symptoms to a health problem without addressing the root cause.
With all drugs there are side effects!
Some side effects are irreversible and cause other health problems which your doctor then gives you another drug to treat the new symptoms...and-so-on.
THEY now HAVE YOU for the rest of your LIFE!!

What that woman Katherine greider said is spot on. we should decide as a society but unfortunately that philosophy is being promoted by an industry that has a motivation which has nothing to do with our culture, physical wellbeing ore health as a society.
