@guardianewjedijoel how do we know it was there ? and, from science, we know that it would need to be a very thick layer of water, as water isn't a very good UV blocker, the same rays that destroy genetic code.

@guardianewjedijoel Also before the world wide flood there was an additional layer of water in the atmosphere (we don't know if it was solid, liquid, or gas) and this layer would protect the earth from harmful radiation from the sun, and without it, the average lifespan decreased drastically.

@heyaanimerocksheya Adam and Eve had many children, only a few were mentioned in the Bible (the ones whose contributions to history were significant.)Marrying into your own "family" back then did not cause genetic defects because the genetic code back then was completely perfect (i.e. no defects or harmful recessive traits to double up.)The reason people lived that long back then was because the genetic code was much better back then because it hadn't been copied endlessly.

In Genesis (chapter 3 or 4 ) it states that Kain has to flee the land because God was angry at him. then it states: He had intercourse with his wife. Now, where does this wife come from? since adam and eve where the only ones. Besides unlike stated in the bible, noone can live more then 150 years ...

@darkmagicianawsome The chances of a single strand of DNA that codes 124 proteins coming about by random causes is 1 in 10^89190th power which is well beyond statistical impossibility which is 1 in 10^50th power, therefore the only option we have left is that there was a Designer, i.e. God. I would hope that you wouldn't consider statistics a waste of time.
