I tried the blitzkrieg mod some time ago.. And it just didn't appeal to me. The concept was nice.. But bloody hard to find a game and when i did most people were busy playing WW1.

Semois games always turn out to be great games, very entertaining and competitive, enjoyed it very much.

Also as a quick point, the Porche/Henschel turret thing is a myth. Krupp designed both of them as prototypes. Porche and Henschel competed for design of the chassis. When the Porche contract was cancelled, the 50 turrets ready for their chassis were refitted to Henschel machines and sent into service.

I think he means sitting back and throwing artillery at the opponent. The Blitzkrieg mod has a lot of pretty models (features a lot of the extra vehicles Dane mentions in his casts) but the gameplay makes it harder to be fluid.

Everything just seems to slow down, as it takes longer to build up strength and it's harder to keep units alive - infantry can get shredded in seconds, Tiger tanks can one-shot Shermans etc, so the safest way to victory is just to blast your opponent into submission.
