This was when MTV was not only cool, but when the "M" actually stood for "Music". I remember the hype surrounding new video debuts, and I also remember the MTV "Battle of the Bands. You could call a 1-900 number and vote for your favorite band/video....oh, & Headbangers Ball, Yo MTV Raps, etc. They should just change the name now to RTVTV (reality TV, TV) or JSTV (Jersey Shore TV), or just plain STV (Shit TV)

It's strange when the 1990s came MTV played rock videos less and less and put on more and more shallow shows about spoiled brats. I'm not sure why they still call it MTV.

I still have printouts of the dungeon maps for Bard's Tale lol. They come in handy every 5 years or so when I get the "Retro Itch".
