@gentlewomanfarmer Not quite that territorial. Most beavers just ignore other beavers. As long as that beaver does not try to move in with them, he is fine.
beavers can't be released until they are 2 years old-they will not survive and they cannot be released where there are other beavers living. beavers are very territorial.
