The Model Railroad Club at Sun City Palm Desert (SCPD) is a labor of love of it's members. This is just one of the over 75 activity clubs and resident groups here at SCPD. We are an active adult golf and tennis community located in the beautiful Coachella Valley along with the cities of Palm Springs, Indian Wells, Rancho Mirage and La Quinta. With over 120 golf courses, the Valley is considered a world class golf destination. The first class shopping and restaurants draw visitors from around the world. Sun City Palm Desert is a premier gated community with just under 5,000 single story homes. The low association dues of $220 includes 3 large clubhouses housing 2 state-of-the-art fitness centers, 3 restaurants, our own on-site post office, a wonderful lending library, a ballroom for dances, dinners and concerts, a 200 seat auditorium for meetings and movies, a dance studio, and 2 pro shops.
