I am always way behind on video watching but I am guilty of sending. However I do erase that "This is Awesome" line.

I can't watch all the videos that people send me, i just don't have the time sadly.
I do the same thing as you if there is a video i really want someone to see and i share it.

Always good to hear from you, Hank -- Sounds like you took a page out of the direct marketing handbook -- custom tailor your message to yer audience! Good advice. My participation in YT is minimal so I don't have problems (yet!)
