OK now if I can just remember this on test day. Everything in CISCO is a trap.

He's is wrong because if the he is has 28 bits on and 4 bit off.
2^4=16 hosts
2^4-2=14 usable hosts
11111111.11111111.11111111.11110000/28
Then the first usable host in that is ip-address range would be 225--238, not 224 is the network.

@icykid Oh ok, Thankyou.

@kevrev7 he didn't say that was an actual address for a host he said thats the address space for the subnet so 224 is correct

your answer is wrong! Its a network address.

32 - 63
64 -95
96 - 127
128 - 159
160 - 191
192 - 223
224 - 255 You see over here. Your 224 is being used as a network address. Tell if I am wrong, But I think Im write. Your answer should have been at least 225 or 224. Because you cant use network or broadcast addresses when subnetting.
