Bull shark gets real close to Captain & Neil & Patty Croninon Acklins Island in the Bahamas. Bull sharks have more testoserone than any earthy creature.

  • Just saw this response Grant...thanks for the clarification....I just took it for granted from the locals on Acklins that this was what they deemed to be a bullshark...Makes no difference to me it was a nice experience and you know the captain intsigated the event. Back on Cape Cod this winter though wishing for the tropics. Neil;

  • That's actually a sub-adult Tiger Shark, not a Bull.

    Looks like its tail has been badly damaged, the upper lobe on Tiger Shark tails is usually quite long.

    Starting at about 0:38, the shark is trying to "warn" you that you're too close. It's body tenses up and it starts posturing in the water. They really aren't vicious animals at all, this little guy was likely just scared of the boat being so close.

    Cool video though, you're lucky to have witnessed this.
