All of this was filmed at Presque Isle in Erie, PA. It wraps around, so as long as it's blowing, there's usually a beach thats good to ride. Good for the G-lakes anyway. thanks for watching.

Like a rain to the farmer in the middle of a drought or a cup of porridge to a starving person that is what waves are to the surfer living midland. You learn to count your blessings and give thanks. When you’re tossed a crumb and are thankful it becomes a meal and you appreciate so much more. . I shouldn’t waste my time to say that it was three foot over head earlier that morn (08/10/05) and that I had surfed non-stop five hours...

I honestly did not think that a lake, no matter how "Great" it was, would have swells big enough for surfing. This is cool. I just moved here to Clevealnd from AZ (of course no surfing there). Where are some good spots along lake Erie? I guess I'm a "west-sider."
