This is the second HBO special that George Carlin (1937-2008) did.

Hey, does anyone else remembr the "Standing Room Only" intro? HBO use to run that before concerts.

HBO On Location began in 1976.

I remember first seeing this a few years ago, attached to Carlin's first HBO special, and I think that it's a really inspiring opening; because each time I see it I get more and more eager to work behind the scenes in broadcasting.

Ah the 70s ... What a time! Fun but simple. Sad to say I missed out on it. Now the world feels like its all computerized and complicated and too politically correct. Seems like everyone is telling you what you can't do and who you should be today ... back then you were who you are and did what you wanted as long as it didn't kill someone else. Today you get arrested for smoking within 20 feet of a building.
