and there is a curious fact Jesus martinez (Pachuca FC Owner) asked to Felipe Calderón (mexico´s president) to talk to javier aguirre and ask him to manage the mexican squad , and for my opinion that´s shows the miss education of this person (Jesus Martinez), and for my opinion that´s a disrespect to Sven-Göran Eriksson work,and i applaude the way he handled the media, he teached to us a lesson, we have to change our behaviors and the mexican federation structure to be better...

yes you´re right derek he has nothing to prove, the federation fired eriksson because of the result vs. honduras and because the entire board of the mexican federation are separate on two groups one from Televisa and other from Tv azteca, they want to control the entire mexican squad just for money unfortunately. that´s why mexico plays many games in United States and because the board have a contract with zoom, an enterprise who manage the matches of the mexican squad in usa

It's just a shame that "El Tri" failed to become a "brand Eriksson" team of winners? Onward and upward and another club will gain from the Mexico squad's failure. Svennis has nothing to prove after coaching a moderately talented England squad through 6+ years with only 5 competitive games lost...
