Actually the barrel DOES stay static when the slide kicks back, you just can't see it very well at this speed and on youtube.

No, actually, you can just barely see that the barrel stays stationary while the slide moves.

Nice! Just keep in mind, the barrel is not part of the slide, so when fired, does not move with the gun. But still, quite nice!
