I love Danny and Michelle. I see something else too. Michelle was really fighting for the Marriage at this time. I think these little pushes was necessary to keep Danny going the right way as we know it was hard for him to get away from the family business. I know Danny loves Michelle and we are reminded of it so much as he sacrifices over and over again. I think the writers wanted us to know and see the steps it took for Danny to finally get out of the mob. Torn Lorvers, these two are.

Listen to how afraid Michelle sounds. This conversation makes a lot more sense with the one with Pilar right before it and why Danny is so determined to get rid of Ben Warren. Michelle looks really good today. I think Michelle is wrong. Even if she can't stay with Danny. Skipping a party thrown partially in her honor is just tacky. Like Danny & Phillip working together. Wish they had done more of it. Oh, Ben between Danny & Michelle is not a good place to be.

I'm SO glad Michelle came back. M: "You're right. I can't live without you." Danny has always been very supportive of Michelle being a doctor. I love how he always defends her trustfund and is determined she go back to med school someday. Danny doesn't want Michelle to accept things. He expressed his fear of that back at the pocketwatch soliloquy.
