  • Actually same here. It's kinda strange because I would get C-'s in math throughout high school. I didn't learn a thing. And yet I'm excelling in upper division math courses here as an undergraduate transfer at Berkeley. I now understand that math is a creative, beautiful subject and all those high school courses were really courses in computation/engineering.

  • It was nice. Your son and I are kind of on the same boat. When I graduated high school I did not know what a logarithm was, let alone how to calculate one. Nor did I know any thing is calculus.

I am now pursuing a degree in mathematics. Hopefully grad school too.

  • Great speech Daniel!

    We love you very much!
