Now I know what bothered me about that saying. You do have to apologize when you're sorry or you never ask for forgiveness and it won't necessarily be given by a human, but with GOD you will not if don't respect Him enough to say you're sorry and ask for His forgiveness. Wow, wish I was aware of that long ago. Took ages to learn.
