Une main tendue (A helping hand)

Trailer of the movie " A helping hand. The main goal of the video report entitled "a helping hand", produced and directed by Jérôme Grenèche during his travel in Guinea in the Centre of Conservation for Chimpanzees (CCC) in 2009, is to educate and inform people about the difficult process of orphan chimpanzees rehabilitation at the CCC, in order to release them in their natural habitat. This video shows the daily work at the CCC and the importance of the rehabilitation project for young chimpanzees, with the threat on the future of wild chimpanzees in Guinea due to poaching and the destruction of their habitat by over-exploitation of trees and mining. This video focuses on the social learning of chimpanzees during trips to the bush and also on the education of local people conducted by the CCC in the villages near the Haut Niger National Park.
