Ron Paul, Minarchy, American Ideologies, Classical Liberalism, Libertarianism, Murder, Fascism, and other things. Responding to comments. I'm just addressing basic trends in the comments that I received. This is clarification. Some people got confused regarding certain things I was talking about. This video jumps around a bit. I highly recommend watching the whole video before discussing or debating.
MAJOR POINTS I TOUCH ON:
1. I was talking about American politics, not European politics
2. I was STATING my opinion, not arguing it.
3. I hate Ron Paul
4. I'm a Minarchist-Libertarian, not an anarchist.
5. Modern American liberalism includes big government in economy, but less in social issues.
6. Classical liberalism is different than Modern day American Liberalism.
7. I'm not an anarchist-I support the state punishing crimes like murder.
8. We are not just a Republic-but Technically we are supposed to be a Democratic-Republic
9. However, as far as I'm concerned, we are neither anymore...we are Fascist
10. I have yet to actually argue my points.

    your not helping,

instead of using your noise hole DO something about it !

  • @labobo -_-' This video is just responding to the comments that were made on other videos by users. I'm responding to my audience and their common questions. And I DO do stuff about it. And most of my videos don't even talk about politics anyway.

  • Death for the liberals and intellectuals! Stalinism is the great fascist mergence of collective capital and the boojwa state apparatus! Hail eternal industry, death and empire under the Supreme Stalinist People's Politburo! Americans deserve nothing more.

  • @PrimeConsciousness Um...lol? :)

  • I also want to thank you for letting me know about the political compass test. I took it and found I'm a lot further left on the economy than I thought but I'm right about where you are on social issues. I think my hard left stance comes from my belief that businesses exist by will and consent of the people and should be regulated as such, not necessarily run by the government but regulated as much as necessary to ensure fair practices and opportunity for competition.

  • I'm sorry, but you are not a minarchist. Minarchists believe taxes should be as low as possible, and nothing should be funded by the government except the courts, the police, and the military. Minarchists believe in small government, right? If the government subsidizes healthcare, I don't call that small government. Economic liberty does not just refer to the freedom to impliment private institutions without government intervention. It means the right to be (mostly) free from taxation as well.

  • Great video, by the way :)

  • @fruitikay That is, a democracy can be a monarchy, like the UK, Holland, the Scandinavian countries or Spain. Conversely, a republic can be a dictatorship, like the aforementioned China and all the historical dictatorships that existed in Latin America until recently and of which Cuba is the last one.

The meaning Plato or Aristotle may have given to the word "republic" in their time doesn't affect what we understand for "republic" today, which is simply "a country without a king or queen".

  • @fruitikay "We are not just a Republic-but Technically we are supposed to be a Democratic-Republic"

    Correct! Finally somebody makes sense.

I am not American, but I find a lot of pathetic morons here in YT who state: "we are not a democracy, we are a republic".

Republic: no king. Both China and the US for instance. Both dictatorships and democracies can be republics.

Democracy: real elections from which a parliament emerges (optionally also the president), civil liberties, etc.

  • I think it's compassionate & proper for a society to provide medical care to its members. I disagree that it's a "right" & ought to be provided by govt. funding. My reasoning-

A "right" is a freedom of individual action in a social context, not a freedom of an individual to demand the professional services of others within a society.

Govt. is force. The only proper use of that force is to prevent or respond to the initiation of force.

Society should provide medical care, but society =/= govt.

  • in canada liberals are fiscally conservative and conservatives are fiscally conservative

  • Loved this discussion. Thanks for sharing. :)

  • As to your position on Healthcare, I think you might want to do some research on the Canadian experience. I'm with the Freedom Party of Ontario. Watch our video: "From the Horse's Mouth: Why Medicare is Failing Ontario's Sick and Injured" watch?v=wp3bk4QQt54.

I think you also ought to consider what human rights are, because I think you're confusing so-called "postive" rights with negative rights. On principle, what separates you from a "liberal" who wants a welfare state?

  • @fruitikay right...

i'd like to see what you have done to improve the situation

talking about the problem with other ppl doesn't count

when i mean improve i mean making it better not worse
