  • @stuy265

I totally agree with you.Five nations live for such moments like "land of my father",it is part of the magic feature of the tournament.

I have never heard anthem song with such enthousiam particularly in 70' because it was known here in France that most of fan's worked hard in mines.

Today I don't feel same enthousiasm because spectators are in stadium to see themselves on screen.

The values are not the same ,the anthem is not song with same spirit like 70's.

    o' tempora ,o'mores!

  • @Sewin2 I'm not Welsh mate but I found it spine tingling. The Welsh team at the time must have played with such incredible pride before that amazing crowd. The Hwyl behind an attacking Wales at the Arms park and Barry John there at the time to lead it all.....epic sport.

  • Its strange, there are (statistically) as many people who speak Welsh in Wales now as there was then, yet the singing of that crowd, without a band leader was truly awsome....

Yes it sounded awsome, but will i ever hear it sang like that again...

    Cymru am Byth
