Whoever made this video doesn't know much about history or else he'd know that Martin Luther wasn't the cause of the Thirty Years' War. This video actually is one of the least likely scenarios of what would have happened without Luther in Germany.

In reality Henry VIII still would have separated the Church of England from the Papacy for his own reasons. The only differences between Henry's church and the Roman church were that Henry was in command and that divorce was a bit, though not much, easier. Plus there were many other protestant leaders before Martin Luther that were eclipsed by his charisma, not too mention Gutenberg, so in the end I doubt that things would be too terribly different, just occurring at a slightly later date.

without the 30 years war, the world would definately be different but trying to predict what would have happened is just no different than trying to predict what the world will be like in 300 years. it might be easier to conceive of what the following 100 years were like but to bring it all the way to the present is wild speculation. Anything could have happened.
