  • Hey, great movie! Is there a possibility to use the chain generator of inventor for this animation?

  • @DJNimda

Up to our knowledge there is no other way. You can visit our blog for more tutorials

  • how does your chain links go around the corners with the angle constraint that you apply of 0 degrees?? as my links keep to 0 degrees on the corners

  • @finlaysteven

We gave the pattern component for links in the assembly. 0 degree angle was given between sprocket and chain to move it along with chain. Follow the full step by step tutorial to understand it in better way. Finished file download link is also given in the video description.

  • Very very good job!!!!...congratulations!

  • Hi, im doing ur tutorial but at the chain time, cant use the rectangular pattern because it doesnt apears in my model menu neither after I expanded all folders, but when i open the master file from the assembly I can see it, so there is a way to turn on or select the rectangular pattern?

  • Hi! When i try to do this, link chain don't want to curve. It stays horizontal. Why is that so?

  • thanks, i learnt something new XD

  • Please tell me (at 16:15), i dont understand why we must input that parameter (1mm) for the Drive Constant, thank you!

  • when do you do the constrains between sprockets and the links of the chain so they can move when the sprockets rotate
