Just returned from Myanmar... why do tourist agencies always underplay the traffic volume in their pictures? Very crowded at times BUT a great city to tour on foot or by car. Great, friendly people. Our tour included Yangoon, InLeh Lake, Mandalay, Bagan and Gnapolli Beaches. Fantastic! As in other police states (Tibet) you do feel safe and secure. But, remember to bring NEW and UNSPOILED American money. They will not change dollars with creases or ink marks... so be it!

It was a best country for foreigners to do busuness, Burmese were very civilized and friendly. I born and spend 14 years unfortunately every thing is change.

ur vdo reminded me of my lovely one year stint with yangon....luved the city and its ever-smiling people...in those times 'lazy club' was quite famous...i still have the CD :)...who is the singer in the VDO...??
