The Traxas runs pretty fast and bouncing on the water your bound to hit a wave wrong.
We are not sure what really happen, but the faster you go the harder you hit.
Try using the metal hydroxide batteries first to get use to the boat.
Recommend you also have a rescue boat available. I have rescued lots of boats with the Atlantic Tug. If not, you can wait for the wind to push it to shore.
Good Luck

Is this in San Francisco?

@rcdudes123
This lake was created in 1903 within Golden Gate park by the City of San Francisco.
Ken who owns this boat I saw today at the lake. The guys out there do a great job in welcoming new
commers.

how did that happen. how did the boat get stuck like that?
dobyruler1 10 months ago
@dobyruler1 Nobody knows. At that high speed, full bore, it bounced on the water pretty good.
When water gets inside the boat goes nose up, because of the weight is in the tail. Probably some
foam at the back would help. Canopy also came off.

That rescue boat is so cool. BTW, Is this Eisenhower park in Long Island?
infernostr 1 year ago
@infernostr This is just the Atlantic tug with some PVC pipe. Last weekend at San luis reservoir float fly I rescued a power boat in my Kayak.
