Hula Hut Carp

Carp fishing in Lady Bird Lake in Austin, TX next to Hula Hut restaurant after a few burgers and fries. We loaded up my new TFO Hayden reel with line at the local Cabela's store, Aaron and I decided to try out the new rig on giant carp. The carp was the first fish on my new Temple Fork Outfitters TiCrx 8wt rod and reel. I obviously put too much bend when I was trying to grab the gills and snap. New section of rod on the way!
