My face just turned ghost white... real estate and stock market bubble bursts> people lose billions and the government HAS to intervene.. Banks collapse because they hold Real estate in the portfolio (similar to safe investments like FAnnie mae and freddie mac) and when real estate falls> the banks balance sheets fall too.
SOUNDS ALL TOO FAMILIAR...

Hi Dave,
Following on from pauper's question I have 2 questions:
1) Are there any video's on ETFs that you have done as I fail to find any. Thanks. :)
2) Will you be doing videos on financial derivatives for equities ?
Thanks very much Dave.

Hi Nikelo11, Yes I will be doing ETF videos in the future however there are not currently any out there that i am aware of. As for financial derivatives for equities I have not planned to do any but there is a section on this in the free course section of InformedTrades. Best Regards, Dave

hello, david
i just wanted to tell how much i appreciate your vidoes.
One question i have for you is not really relevant to currency.. but what are Exchange Traded Funds(ETFs), what makes up an ETF, is it tradable or traders find it more useful as an indicator?!?
thanks

Hi Pauper101, Thanks for the comment I am glad you like the videos. ETF's are instruments that trade just like a stock but represent the value of a commodity (like gold or oil), or an index (such as the dow jones industrial average). Trader's use ETF's to speculate on things such as the price of oil or the level of the Dow, but also as indicator's of things like the performance in a particular sector (such as airlines) which an ETF represents. Best Regards, Dave
