In the 60’s, Cambodia’s rock scene was huge, and now Thailand’s music is bigger so it’s reverse. This is not the first time I heard this song, it’s old and I have heard many versions. It’s definitely a classic, which is no surprise it’s in other countries.

I think it’s just ridiculous that anytime, you Thai people also have a version, you automatically assume that it’s originally Thai. The great will be always copied, like Thai copied Khmer alphabet, because at the time, the Khmer empire was more powerful.
