on back day i combine the true clean and jerk with weighted chins,barbell rows and deadlifts.when i combine all of these i can actually get in back and delts in the same workout.if you had only 30-45 minutes to mtrain the true clean and jerk will hit every muscle in the body.you dead,squat twice,press.clean.you truly hit everything.add in the progressive overload principle[i.e.200 is good,201 is better,] aand you have an outstanding exercise.

You guys are hilarious, and cool as shit, but you guys are so wrong about the clean & jerk. When I worked out for high school football, all the way thru div I football, I made all kinds of gains doing that exercise! Just like you said, you never tried it. Don't knock what you haven't tried bitches

olympic lifts = fast functional strength & power.
bodybuilding = no real strength or power. Egomaniacs galore and nonfunctional muscle. Looks pretty though on guys who gas out in a fight in less than a minute
