  • The current estimate of the full cost of Labors 'education revolution' is $4 billion! that's $3b above their original estimate. The Labor geniuses never allowed for actually accommodating the computers (classrooms, powerpoints, wiring, air-con, security, etc.,), training, maintenance, upgrades, and such. Gillard has been desperately trying to get the States to foot the shortfall. And as one teacher commented- "If we put 50 laptops in our school, they be gone the next morning!"

  • if you can get me that report or leave the link and i will do one on it..thanks

  • What a waste of taxpayers money! $4b could be better spent improving the quality of teaching. BTW laptops have been rolled out in PHHS, still in boxes and mothballed due to lack of funds toset up and connect to internet!

  • This is just so funny! I think that education in our schools should be one of our principle topics heading into the next election. There is a great book by Kevin Donnelly called "Dumbing Down - Outcomes based and the politically correct. The Impact of the culture wars on our schools" It explains why someone can study a foreign language at school, get an A+ but not speak effectively enough to communicate abroard. Also why big brother is worth studying in literature and Shakespeare isn't.

  • Id like the link too if thats no trouble

  • Sent via email. YouTube blocks links in these message boxes. :(

  • Check one of my vids re Labor's 'talent' in preparing reports. In this case one by the Minister for Plastic bags, Peter Garrett:
