Found this worm like thing swimming about in my salt water tank, not sure what it is... Am hoping someone who views it will have an inkling...

  • Nope, never found out what it is.... It disappeared somewhere in the rocks so I don't know if it is still alive....

  • I had something a lot like that in my aquarium, looked like a little pink worm that wriggled around at the surface. It got sucked up by the filter.

  • Reproductive stage of a bristle worm. They swim to the surface and explode in a mass of worm larvae.  :P

  • Could it not possible to have a more close-up view of this creature? It's a little far and blurry to identify it. It reminds to me a swimming Crustacean,like a thin shrimp, a young Squilla or the primitive group of Crustaceans recently discovered called Remipedia.

  • ive seen one in a lake but i dont know what it is...maybe a larva
