@randy109 Imperialism did not end with the Dutch you fool. Americans and their puppet Suharto killed millions who wanted to build a better nations. So shove your ignorant remarks up your ass and shut the fuck up

1948 to the present. Can't blame the Dutch any more. Indonesia is actually worse off than before because they no longer have any one to blame. Time to emulate Singapore or South Korea. End the corruption and get to work. Your future is now in YOUR hands...

Indonesia became free country in 1948 during what you guys call meja bundar. Do not learn the history from from Suharto era, you have to think outside the box. The winner will always write their own history. The Dutch came to java island to take over its people therefore they could attack other islands in nusantara. Have you red the story of "Marsuse Belanda"? You will find the aswer. Oil was not important sources during that era. They were more interested to spicies.

thats not true the dutch were everywhere in aceh (rich with oil), irian jaya, everywhere, they owned that country why should they only robbed jawa the smallest one compare to the other big ones who olso rich with natural sources ( are they too modest ) and indonesia became free country on 17 august 1945

Yeah, crazy person feels also happy. Look Indonesian brother, you have to define what is the basic need of life this day. You got to open your eyes and see are those kids get basic need? you got to think outside the box brother. These kids need education, good food, great place to live. Im wondering would they be able to take care their own family one day.
Thank you much for posting this videos :o) At least, my homesick got healed! I used to live in Makassar... originally from Palopo :o)

So, are you still in Indonesia ? I have never been to Palopo those the chairman of the organisation is from Palopo. However, he disappeared after the Jogya earthquake. I hope he is alive. :-(

I wonder how clever this mr Burit to call Indonesian people stupid. As an Indo, I used to teach at international schools as a full time teacher for many years. What I noticed was, the kids of the expats who lived there were not any smarter than Indo kids. Indo kids unfortunately only lack of resources, finance, therefore opportunities as all of those have mostly been taken by greedy wanting to be rich people

I am proud of all my Makassar street children. They are resilience and street smart. They 'survive' in extremely difficult circumstances and they are so resourceful and they are happy even with little support. I am amazed by them !
