Sennheiser HD 595

I love my headphones :P
Had a boring night so I made this video. What you hear is the real audio recorded by the camera. The mic on my cam doesn't go low enough to record the lowest frequencies, though.
Please watch this in high quality to actually see something!

FAQ:

Q: Do you need an amp to drive these headphones?
A: No, but some say an amp could increase the amount of bass available.

Q: What soundcard do you have?
A: SoundBlaster Audigy 2 ZS (NOT the notebook version)

Q: I thought these headphones were lacking in the lower frequencies?
A: Tune your EQ and you get as much bass as you want.

Q: Can you use these headphones with an mp3 player?
A: I don't know as I don't own an mp3 player. The have the bigger stereo plug, but they come with an adapter for a 3,5mm stereo jack.

Q: I heard you can take a piece of foam out of the HD555's and make them in to the 595's?
A: I have no idea. Google it. Try it.

Q: How badly do these leak sound?
A: Badly. They are open headphones, and all open headphones leak sound badly.

Q: How do I remove the cushions for cleaning?

@sbhk1 Oh I'm sorry, I don't give a crap. This is a VIDEO. A video has visual content in addition to audio. The point of this video is the visual content in conjunction with the audio. I didn't make this video to highlight the audio quality of the headphones. I made this because I was bored.

@ak47whaaa You didn't answer my question. AND as you said, it's all subjective. The 595s are very good headphones. The 800s are extremely good. Does that justify the 10x price? I hardly think so. Sell them for 500 bucks/euros, then I'd be interested.

@Kepez You are thinking a tad too technical, audio is mainly subjective. Tech specs sadly don't tell the entire story, driver speed, sound detail, soundstaging, comfort, clarity, etc. There are many factors you don't see that affect the performance that aren't in the specs themselves. Through specs you won't be able to tell any of these things. The best way to tell the difference in performance is actually testing them for yourself (I'd type more but i don't have enough room)
