Giga Gaia can be pretty tough, but once both arms are defeated, he'll do nothing except take a few turns regenerating those arms, comparable to Penance, only it's Chrono Trigger, and it's much easier than him.
Basically, use a multi-targetting tech targetting both the arms (Falcon Strike, Luminaire, etc.), and once the arms are done, go all out on the body until it regenerates again, healing when needed.
this fight was so easy. I just beat it with Crono(lvl31), Frog(lvl31), and Marle(lvl30). I just kept hitting the arms with Ice2/Lightnig2 and using Frog to cast Cure2 after each round of hits.. Then when the arms were gone I used their Arc Impulse (for about 2100 a hit) and he was dead after about 2 rounds of arm regenerations.

If you take the time to learn Crono, Ayla, and Robo's triple tech, Twister, just use it like 3 or 4 times and this boss is ridiculously easy.

this boss is a BITCH! if anyone cares i just destroyed the healing arm first then just pummled the head and left one arm alive. that way when it regenerated the arms only one would regenerate and i could kill the other one right away since i weakened it. this way it was in a constant state off getting its ass kicked lol

I like the menus in this version very sleek

Once the arms get destroyed once, I think the regenerated arms have less HP since it seems like they're much easier to destroy after the first time. Correct me if I'm wrong.

it took me like two minutes using Frog,Crono and Ayla. Id use Falcon Strike for the arms then use Lightning Rod and Roundillo Kick for the Face after the arms were Dead

Are you overleveled at this point, or is this be the level I should be at? Because I'm like 10 levels below you.
