@Sneak1101 There was a level 30 quest back in the day that was out of the way which no one ever completed. You had to answer questions about WoW lore. You could intentionally fail and re-take the quest many times. Each time you failed you were given the "Mark of Shame" debuff which makes YOUR OWN FACTION HOSTILE TO YOU. Meaning we could attack Thrall and other NPCs by intentionally failing the quest at level 60. It was patched long ago.

The comments in here are always interesting every time I come back and check after a year or so.
To answer a few of the more legitimate posts -
Yes, WoW pre-BC was very epic and lots of fun. Generally felt less like work, and there was lots of rivalry on servers when battlegrounds were not cross-server.
So, after we killed Thrall, we didn't become anything except banned for 1 week for "griefing" our own faction. Whole guild was banned. We were PM'ed by GMs rather quickly after he went down.
