I read the transcript of this (minus all the people walking by the camera and all the rattling in the background). As usual, your writing and speaking on all this has a very nice (almost poetic) rhythm -- and as always, very educational. Thank you.

I agree with henjokongo. All the people who walked in late (from the "left", mind you) MISSED most of the essential content presented by Cooney. And when will all these leftist techo-dependants loose their obsessions with portable social life via cell phone? Can't they at least turn them off during a lecture?
In any event, George Jetson and Fred Flintstone will now discuss the positive correlation between human stupidity and technological advancement in the capitalist soup kitchen. George?

Your paper was great but it would have been better if it was presented at a Forum where people owned watched and could show up on time instead of arriving, and answering cellphones through the entirety of your presentation. This was the height of disrespect for your writing and intellectual gifts.

yes... but no offense taken. It was the first panel of the conference and people were still coming in late from the long lines at the registration.
I also made the mistake of putting the camera right next to the door!
