The only resemblance to Take Five is the rhythmic measures. I think it's in a 5/8 mode, just like take five. Chords are completely different. Both are brilliant songs by the way.

@ everyone..sorry, but Nicola's Other Direction (which Time for Spring first released) came out way after KOOP's Tonight (released on Waltz for Koop in 2002). If mimicry is involved it's on Conte's part...although I don't believe it after listening to both songs.
