STEPS ARE IN DESCRIPTION

Hey guys, this is the first video for Gmod. I thought I would just show you guys how to wire a warp drive onto a ship. Its pretty easy, just follow these steps:
(you must have spacebuild 3 and wire tool.)
1. Spawn a warp drive and weld it to your ship.
2. Spawn an Advance Pod Controller onto the ship.
3. Right click it (with the same tool) and then right click the driver seat.
4. Select the 'Wire' tool and click the Warp Drive. (it should say Radius)
5. Click the pod controller, then right click until you get to mouse 2(you will aim with this) then click it again.
6. Right click the warp drive until it gets to X then click.
7. Click the pod controller, and right click until you get to X then click.
8. Repeat this twice, replacing the X with Y and Z.
9 Right click the Warp drive until you get to warp then click.
10. Click the pod controller and then right click until you get to 'alt'. You will use this to trigger the warp.

Follow those 10 easy steps and yuo will be warping across the map in no time ;).

Credit to Toxic Sn1pe for making the cool little warping chair at the end. (He was also in the Vid with me :D)

Thanks for watching guys

  • A pair of things to help you in wiring:

To avoid misclicking and having to do the 9001 right clicks when searching for 'mouse 2', use the advanced wiring. It's the same, but a menu displays so you won't fail.

Also, advanced wiring instantly connects input with output, for example:

Right click, left click on X, aim to pod, left click and, ta-daa! the menu's already aiming at your X

Also, it saves the last position, meaning that if there's something that isnt on the other, itll stay on the last

  • @migueeeelet Thanks for the constructive criticism, not often you get it on here :)

I recently started using the advanced wiring tool and feel like a fool for not using it sooner, its a much better way to wire. The 9001 right clicks as you said is a bit of a pain in the ass :L Thanks again
