@redhatman umm yeah ya do just cause theres a switch on the psu dont mean its gonna turn on when ya flick it
-
@redhatman he is right
-
i suggest a sledge hammer

@redhatman Yes the PSU_ON signal is green wire it has to be shorted to any ground wire to close the circuit. Also you cannot check if a PSU is faulty with a voltmeter the PSU in some cases gives out correct voltages but it still does not work, you need special PSU testers that load the PSU and check for loads and voltage stabiliity.

weh hey 10 thousandth viewer :D

Its a voltmeter, when it drops to 0 it means no voltage is flowing and so theres not electricity worth talking about.

You have to short 2 wires probbaly a green or purple to ground and that will turn onn the power unit.
-
multimeter?
-
what is that thing? (the one who shows the numbers)

Gnéé...
You have to short the green wire with any black wire to simulate the m otherboard being connected.

What are you talking about?! I did this like 3 days ago to diagnose my PSU. The green wire has to be grounded! You're giving people misinformation and probalby blowing up their power supplies.

You are right, it does have to be connected. But on mine it was, and the power supply still did not work. Calm down.
