This video was cut for Echo Base Soundsystem from documentary footage of them and the crowd at Eeyore's birthday party in 2002. I was a part of a documentary crew for Eeyore's several years running, including shooting video with an XL-1, producing the documentary shoot, managing the multi-camera crew via radio, and final cut of this and other promotional videos. Scott Sexton of the Eeyore's birthday party volunteer crew was the point of contact for all documentary approval and feedback. If you've never gone, Eeyore's is a HUGE, usually 8-10K person festival the last weekend in April at Pease Park in Austin, TX. This tradition has continued for almost 45 years, and involves the donation of beer, food and craft sales to local austin charities- usually netting around 25K$ to charity every year from ONE DAY of event. Plus, it's an amazing event to people watch, dress up, dance in drum circles, and "Let that Austin Freak Flag fly." as per the organizers. Many thanks to Echo Base Soundsystem for laying down such a great track to display one of Austin's finer yearly community events.
Good editing ... unfortunate high tone on the audio once you uploaded though ... good job nonetheless . . . dougie in austin

I can't get enough of this video. I've lived in Austin 30 yrs without ever making it to Eeyore's Birthday Party. This video has convinced me on how much I've been missing out. Thanks!
