***Read Below***
1. Do this under your own risk and responsibility. Don't blame me for anything bad that occurs to your headset after this mod.
2. I can guarantee you that this won't break your headset by all means. But, make sure to follow my video precisely, step by step.
3. Create as many holes as you want. I recommend to start from 1 hole on each earcup. If that doesn't satisfy you, then create another hole and so on.
4. For more information about the mod, go to the forum where the modding tutorial was created by "ourfpshero":

http://www.head-fi.org/t/406187/modding-the-sennheiser-pc350-headset

Quick Written Tutorial:

1. Carefully remove the earbuds from the earcups (as shown on the video).
2. With a philips screwdriver unscrew all the screws.
3. Remove the smaller earcup from the larger earcup.
4. Create the holes (on the place shown on the video) using whether a welder or a punch.
5. Rearm both earcups and you're done.

  • Hopefully one day you check this post. What do I do about an amp? Not sure how that part works. I have a really up to date computer that I built myself a year or so ago, I'm getting pretty awesome bass but I feel that I can turn it up a bit more.

  • @newkie2008 Probably not, as far as I know it's confirmed to work only on PC350

They are designed for gaming, better precision for sound placement/directionality. Studio headphones/headsets are made for neutral sound, the PC 350 however isn't as neutral as it is clear. The clarity to hear faint sounds like footsteps come with a price, and that is the weakened lows. The smaller enclosure inside the cans limits the reverberations the sound has and dampens the bass but makes the sound more clear. When done properly, this mod improves the lows without ruining clarity
