The third and most violent is Boilover. This is similar to the frothover but when the water vaporises and bubbles through the fuel it causes froth, due to the viscous nature of the oil. Once this froth reaches the surface of the fire, it ignites causing a huge increase in burning rate and can send a column of flame high into the air.

  • that does actuly look fake god that must have been hot

  • Where do they sell those sangwiches??

  • Hugo Chavez was not in power back then, check your history books, besides, this has nothing to do with politics

  • @bigjmm What you call what happened in Venezuela when Hugo Chavez came to power cannot be stated without using some really, really bad words.....;)

  • A boilover is what happened in Venezuela in 1982 in the electrical plant of tacoa, you can find videos here, that boilover took the lives of firemen and news crews, for some reason no one took in to consederation something like that could happen

  • @carmenlee87 The reason you see people walking around before it blows is because the officer in charge was actually aware of this possibility, which is why noone was killed in this incident,as noone was putting anymore water onto the tank.Other documentaries on this actually show a firefighter talking about how they tried to prevent this,as he knew what it was, right after the explosion. The problem was the release valve,as heard in this video, was not fully opened and too much water got in .

  • @WorldCityZen even Zombies! would run from that -_o

  • Also, all that heat would burn the oxygen out of the air surrounding it, anyone nearby would be in danger of suffocation, along with the extreme burns of course.

  • @WorldCityZen uhh.....ROLF...Roll On Laughing Floor?
