Jozef Antalik lived in the region Nitra from Slovakia. He used a chanter with 3 reeds.
On behind of the chanter you'll find a reed and when you open the hole you hear the octave on the tonica.
It gives the possibility to play polyphony. It gives also the possibility to play very well staccato.
Juraj Dufek from Slovakia has made for me the chanter and the drone.
The bag is of a sheep and prepared by Andor Vegh from Hungary.
I'm very glad with this gajdy and I'd like to play some melodies in Jozef Antalik's style.
Jozef also used to beat with his left hand, so I do, but .... with my right hand!!
Sometimes Jozef played an interlude between 2 melodies. That's called cifra or apraja.
I also play a cifra.

@Broockle sheep hide. or goat hide. front half of the animal, neck is made for the chanter stock and the front legs are the stocks for the drone and blowpipe.
