Senator Dodd: my family doesn't care about the AIG bonuses,we care about Helping Families Save Their Homes in Bankruptcy Act of 2009, S.61. When is the Senate going to get back to business? Granting bankruptcy judges this authority gives home mortgages on primary residences the same treatment as vacations homes, yachts or investment properties owned by wealthier borrowers. Why should those facing financial crises, whose homes are their most valued asset, be denied relief given to others?

It is correct, Chris Dodd was not responsible.
Though, he after all chairs Banking Committee, should not he see this coming?
I am glad that he has cleared the whole thing up because I do not for one second doubt his commitment for the Americans. Though I will have to say the Senate Democrats will need to start taking some initiatives and follow the examples set by the House Leadership. Democrats cannot be Corporates.

Senator Chris Dodd is NOT responsible for this fiasco. He did everything he could to stop these corporate welfare bums from ripping everyone off.
