Thanks to all the teachers who taught me at NSCD: Nadine, Alison, Namron, Gurmit, Debby, John, Paul C, Cathy, Paul F, Dereck and all the other staff. I had the best time of my life! 1889 - 1992/1993.

To all the people who have written negative comments about this school when this video was made the school had only been open about 3 years and most of the male dancers in the video had never danced before so yes their jumps arnt going to be perfect just 4 weeks into training. NSCD was and is a ground braking. ! whent to NSCD at the age of 18 in 1989 and had never danced before, i got my first job the day after i graduated. Dance has moved on and so has NSCD. Thanks Northern for all you gave me

the video says that the students have been there 3-4 weeks. I really don't think you should judge a school on its 1 years after 1 month of training. Some of the dancers in this went on to be some of the leading performers of their time and are now running their own companies.

believe me, I'm in the school and it's a really good one...this is an old documentary and when I saw it i was terrified...now it's WAY better...if you see on the website you'll see
